Where We Started
Laniper began as a small circle of educators and working wedding photographers who shared the same frustration: too many courses taught technique in isolation, without preparing students for the pace and pressure of a live celebration.
Our first sessions took place in borrowed studios around Canberra. There were mismatched chairs, extension cords everywhere, and students who showed up nervous but hungry to learn. That raw energy still defines us. We build programs around honest feedback, practical assignments, and the kind of mentorship you cannot get from a pre-recorded lecture alone.
Today, Laniper supports photographers across Australia and beyond, but our goal has not changed. We want every graduate to walk onto a wedding floor feeling prepared—not perfect, but genuinely ready.
